What is SafePathApp?
SafePathApp is an emergency preparedness app designed to help individuals and families plan ahead, stay informed, and navigate emergencies with greater clarity and confidence.
What types of emergencies does SafePathApp cover?
SafePathApp is designed to support a range of situations, including wildfires, earthquakes, severe weather, and other unexpected disruptions that may require planning or evacuation.
How does SafePathApp help me prepare?
SafePathApp allows you to create a personalized emergency plan based on your household, including family members, pets, emergency contacts, and essential checklists.
Does SafePathApp provide real-time alerts?
SafePathApp provides notifications based on available data sources to help you stay aware of nearby events and changing conditions.
How accurate are the alerts and information?
SafePathApp uses data from third-party and publicly available sources. While we aim to provide timely and helpful information, conditions may change rapidly and accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
Does SafePathApp replace official emergency services or alerts?
No. SafePathApp is intended to complement—not replace—official guidance. Always follow instructions from local authorities and emergency services.
How do evacuation routes work?
SafePathApp provides suggested routes using integrated mapping services. These routes are for general guidance and may be affected by real-time conditions such as traffic, closures, or hazards.
Can I use SafePathApp for my entire family?
Yes. SafePathApp is designed with families in mind, allowing you to organize plans and coordinate key information for everyone in your household.
Does SafePathApp work if I lose internet connection?
Some features, such as downloaded maps, emergency safety guides, and first-aid guides may remain accessible. However, real-time alerts and map-based features may require connectivity.
Is my personal information secure?
SafePathApp is designed with user privacy in mind. We only collect information necessary to provide core features and aim to handle data responsibly. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what the app stores on your device, what syncs through iCloud, and which third-party services receive data.
Does SafePathApp provide medical advice?
SafePathApp may provide general first-aid informational guidance related to emergency situations. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
What should I do in a life-threatening emergency?
Always contact your local emergency services (such as 911 in the United States) immediately. SafePathApp is not a replacement for emergency response services.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account, not through SafePathApp. You can view, change, or cancel them in the Settings app on your device under your Apple Account subscriptions. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
How do I delete my data?
Most of what SafePathApp stores stays on your device, so removing the app removes it. The Your choices section of the Privacy Policy covers the rest, including the preferences that sync through iCloud.
