Editorial Standards
These standards apply to the guides and product information published on Tehmina Tajik Apps. Tehmina Tajik is responsible for the site and its editorial choices.
A named author and a clear point of view
Guides carry a byline linked to Tehmina’s author page. Product-development and family experience can explain why a topic matters; they do not establish medical, scientific, or emergency-response expertise. We distinguish personal suggestions from sourced facts.
Safety information needs official sources
SafePath guides explain preparedness topics using public-agency and specialist resources. Instructions from local emergency authorities take priority over a general guide. Articles do not assess a reader’s current risk, diagnose a condition, or confirm that an area is safe.
An article is not labelled as medically reviewed or expert reviewed unless a qualified reviewer is identified and that review actually took place. Source links and the scope of a review should be visible to readers.
Recommendations and commercial relationships
This site promotes apps created by Tehmina Tajik. App pages identify their availability and link to their official listings. Some app-page gear lists contain Amazon affiliate links, with a disclosure alongside those lists.
A product mention is not a claim that it has been personally tested. Sponsored content, paid placements, gifted products, or material partnerships must be labelled when they apply. We do not invent testimonials, awards, press coverage, or endorsements.
Research and AI-assisted tools
Research, drafting, illustrations, and site maintenance may use AI-assisted tools. AI output is not an authoritative source. Factual claims should be traced to the underlying source, and illustrations should not be presented as documentary photographs or real app captures.
A research note describes the basis of a guide. Where a source review date is shown, it applies to the scope described there; it does not mean that live local conditions have been checked.
Accountability after publication
Readers can report errors through our corrections policy. Our sourcing and update policy explains source selection, publication dates, and material revisions.
