Corrections Policy
If something on this site is inaccurate, unclear, or out of date, please tell us. Corrections help readers make better decisions.
How to report an error
Email tktajik@gmail.com with the page URL, the passage in question, what you believe is wrong, and a reliable source if you have one. Please avoid sending medical records or other private information that is not needed to explain the issue.
How a report is assessed
We compare the disputed statement with the cited source, any newer primary information, and the context of the article. A changed source does not automatically mean the original statement was wrong; it may mean the article needs an update.
Potentially harmful safety errors take priority. While a material claim is unresolved, the appropriate response may be to qualify or remove it rather than leave a misleading statement in place. Email is not monitored as an emergency channel.
What readers will see
A material factual correction receives a dated correction note explaining what changed. A substantive revision receives an updated date and, where useful, a short explanation of its scope. The original publication date is retained.
Spelling, punctuation, formatting, navigation, and byline changes do not by themselves receive a new article update date. Existing source-verification dates are not reset unless those sources were actually checked again.
Urgent local information
For an immediate emergency, contact emergency services and follow local authorities. A correction request to this website cannot issue an alert, change an evacuation order, or provide emergency assistance.
